Our Purpose

The purpose of the Dallas Hand Knitters Guild is to provide education and communication to advance the quality of workmanship and creativity in the member?s knitting endeavors as well as to promote the art of knitting.

Guild Membership Meetings

The Dallas Hand Knitters Guild (DHKG) membership meetings are held on the 1st Tuesday of each month (September through May) 7:30 PM until about 10:00 PM at the Youth Center of the Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration (see the Directions link on the left).

The January 2008 meeting will be held on January 8 instead of January 1.

The March 2008 meeting will be held on March 11 instead of March 4.

Informal Meetings

The DHKG members also meet informally during the day and evening:

Day Knitters meet the 3rd Wednesday of each month at Half Price Books (community room), 5803 E. Northwest Highway, Dallas (at U.S. 75), 10:00am -3:00pm.
